La Chana is proper old-Granada territory west of the Camino de Ronda: big, airy flats, a street market, huge supermarkets and none of the student pose. The main bus station sits right here for weekend trips home, and the computing school (ETSIIT) and Fine Arts up in Aynadamar are within walking distance, though the centre does mean a bus or the metro. If there are a few of you after real space for little money, this is the move.
